A hero's got to eat. Travelling to Voss and around, you will probably get hungry – and Voss has quite a few places to eat. You might not find a Michelin restaurant, but there are plenty of options to satisfy everyone after a day of activities, hiking or trips to the viewpoints nearby.
Tre Brør Kafé og Bar
A nice, small restaurant. The menu is not large, but the food – served both indoors and outdoors – is excellent, and there is a bar too.
Flor'n Restaurant, Store Ringheim
Rich in history, Flor'n reopened in 2019 with a new concept and a new interior, and went back to its roots: local, unrefined food, menus that follow the seasons and the raw materials available. They are proud to serve sustainable and tasty food.
Restauranthuset Malin
A restaurant with traditional Asian dishes and a popular steakhouse menu. If you are looking for sushi, this is the place at Voss.
Restaurant Elysée
An international kitchen with a varied menu based on local ingredients. From the Norwegian dishes we can really recommend the salmon, and the restaurant is proud of its wine list and wine cellar.
Vossevangen Grill & Steakhouse
An American-inspired restaurant in the centre of Voss, specialising in juicy beef and tasty burgers.
2 bror
If hunger strikes on the road from Bergen to Voss, stop at Dale and the restaurant 2 bror. They serve pizza and kebab – the beef kebab is a real winner.
Pizza at Voss
There are two main pizza restaurants at Voss, and we can recommend both. Pizzabakeren and Peppe's Pizza both offer dine-in, takeaway and delivery.
Peppe's Pizza has a very nice restaurant if you want to eat indoors, and serves food outside too. The menu is varied – pizza number 11, the "Pepper Steak", is always a safe bet if you like meat on your pizza.
Pizzabakeren is our favourite pizza at Voss as we write this. They are famous for their pizza spice, which you can buy separately if you don't get enough on your pizza. If you like pepperoni, we recommend pizza number 6. The seating area is not the best, so we recommend takeaway or delivery.
