A Hero’s got to eat. Traveling to Voss and in the area around you will probably get hungry. Voss has quite a few places to eat, and even if you might not get access to a Michelin restaurant, there are many options to give everybody a mouthful of experiences to satisfy your hunger. After doing activities, hiking, or visiting the nearby viewpoints, we bet our recommendations come in handy.
Tre Brør Kafé og Bar
Tre Brør Kafé og Bar is a nice small restaurant. The selection is not large, but the food served, both indoors and outdoors is excellent. Even though this is a nice restaurant, they also have a bar at the ready.
Flor’n Restaurant Store Ringheim
Although rich in history Flor’n restaurant was reopened in 2019, with a new concept, new interior and got back to the our roots. Their brand now is local and unrefined food, menus that reflect the season, and access to raw materials. They are proud to offer sustainable and tasty food.
Restauranthuset Malin
Restauranthuset Malin in Voss is a restaurant with traditional Asian dishes. They also have a popular steakhouse menu. If you are looking for Sushi, this is the place at Voss.
Restaurant Elysèe
Restaurant Elysèe has a varied menu. This is an international varied kitchen based on local raw materials. Of the Norwegian selection, we can really recommend the salmon. The restaurant is very proud of its great wine chart and wine cellar.
Vossevangen Grill & Steakhouse
This is an American-inspired restaurant centrally located in the center of Voss. They specialize in juicy beef and tasty burgers.
2 bror
Should hunger overtake you on the road from Bergen in the direction of Voss, we would really recommend you to stop at Dale. Here you will find the restaurant “2 bror”. They sell pizza and kebabs. The beef kebab is really a winner and we strongly recommend it.
There are two main pizza restaurants in Voss. We can recommend them both.
Peppe’s Pizza
Peppe’s pizza offers a very nice restaurant if you would like to eat indoors. They also do serve food outside. Their menu is varied and you will most certainly find something you like on the menu. Pizza number 11, the “Pepper Steak” is always a safe bet if you like meat on your pizza.
Pizzabakeren
As we write this, “Pizzabakeren ” is our favorite pizza restaurant at Voss. They are famous for their pizza spice, which you can actually buy separately if you don’t get enough on your pizza. If you like pepperoni, we definitively recommend pizza#6. The indoor area for this restaurant is not the best, so with Pizzabakeren, we recommend takeout or deliveries.
Both Pizzabakeren and Peppe’s Pizza offer dine-in, takeout and deliveries.
